Bleached Shells - Guild Wars Forums

I'm in the Anmoon Oasis and a collector will craft me a sweet +1 sword helm with an AL of 80 for just 5 Bleached Shells.

Does anyone know where I can obtain these?

Do these items drop, or are they salvaged from other items?

The beggining part of Thirsty River Mission. The scorpions drop these. I got at least 10 in my inventory from running thru this area.

mhh..u r sure that this bleached shells are correct ?
In my Language the Collector wants other Items (Bleached Scales?) and the dropped Shells dont do it....

The scorpion type creatures drop bleached carapices, which are NOT the same as the shells. You need to kill the giant sand worms that pop out of the ground to get the shells. They are far less common.

Opps, my bad, Good luck with them worms, I usually just run from them because I travel with henchies and they don't know how to spread out . Those worms are just mean they never stay up to fight.

Worms are cake with the hench party, it's just tough to find enough of them to actually get the shells from.

Sand Wurms are easy to find sence they always spawn in the same spot. In diviners assent outside the mission one spawns around the bleached bones to the east.
